Lahari is a sanskrit word that can be translated to wave or tender. Tantra is a system that at its heart is about seeing everything in life as Divine. Through this training you will not only learn how to be a proficient yoga teacher, but you will also begin to embody these ancient teachings that will help you to ride the waves of your modern life with grace, ease and purpose.
This is not your average YTT folks. We’ve found that most yoga teacher training’s teach very in depth course’s centered around pose’s and the body, and then water down everything else. It was disappointing to hear other people’s experiences and the lack of deeper knowledge around the 7 other limbs of yoga. We are not here to reduce, we are here to EXPAND!
Don't get it twisted, we LOVE asana and find it extremely valuable to know how to execute and teach the posture's properly and with integrity, we also want to encourage the understanding that we fall in love with movement because it's the first step in mastering energy. Asana is the doorway to having a somatic experience that opens us up for even deeper insight and revelation. We will spend a good chunk of time on posture's AND also will spend extensive time exploring the subtle energetics of yoga and the value of being a great pranayama and meditation teacher as well.
Of course we intend to share the necessary information around the structure and alignment of the physicality of yoga, but more importantly we want to really spend time exploring the subtle energetics of yoga and the value of being a great pranayama and meditation teacher as well. If you ONLY want to learn fancy arm balances and inversions, this is not your training my friend. If you want to learn that AND be tied to a living tradition that explore’s how to shape your energy, understand the tantric worldview and live a spiritual life knowing that you are held by the Divine Mother…than let’s party!
